The Chiefs were only 4-12 last season as they got pushed around quite a bit.  I don’t see that being the case again in 2010 as the Chiefs have not only added a lot of talent on the field but they have brought in Charlie Weis (offensive co-ordinator) and Romeo Crennel (defensive co-ordinator).  Weis and Crennel know how to coach players up as they won some Super Bowls under Bill Belichick in New England.  I expect that the Chiefs will be much more prepared to succeed in 2010 and I think Todd Haley will be a better coach now that he doesn’t need to call the plays on offense anymore.  A quick look at the schedule shows that the Chiefs could be in for a very nice turnaround season in 2010 so take the over.  The Chiefs are 125-1 to win the Super Bowl but you should keep your money in the bank for now instead of making a bet on them.

The Chiefs might have the worst QB/head coach combination in the NFL so I have to side with the under here.  Despite having a good draft I don’t think the team will be any better on the field of play.  Remember, all was not good in the offseason as the Chiefs traded the best player (Jared Allen) on the entire roster.  Four wins in 2008 would be a miracle from God so bet the under.

Sure, the Chiefs were awful in the pre-season but guess what….those games mean absolutely nothing.  This number seems kind of low to me considering that the Chiefs are doing the right thing and starting Damon Huard at QB.  I also like the fact that they brought in Napoleon Harris and Donnie Edwards to help out the defense.  Look for this team to surprise some people and win 8-10 games in 2007.  Take the over.
