The Kansas City Chiefs have picked OLB Gabe Miller in the 5th round of the 2011 NFL Draft

The Chiefs have picked 23-year old OLB Gabe Miller out of Oregon State with the 140th overall pick (5th round) of the 2011 NFL Draft.  Miller is 6’3″, 250 pounds and he runs a 4.6 40.  Miller will need some coaching up by the Chiefs’ staff as he was a DE in college.  He had 44 tackles, 8 tackles for a loss, 5 sacks, 2 batted down passes, 2 passes defensed and 1 fumble recovery last year.  He played two years on defense for the Beavers and he had 67 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 8 sacks, batted down 2 passes, defensed 2 passes, 2 fumble recoveries and 2 forced fumbles.
