Kansas City Chiefs 17, Green Bay Packers 13

The Chiefs played a decent game last night to finish out the pre-season.  Matt Cassel started this game at QB and he completed 4 of 9 passes for 58 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 INT.  Brodie Croyle finished up this game at QB for the Chiefs and he completed 11 of 16 passes for 119 yards.  Jackie Battle led the way on the ground for the Chiefs in this game with 10 carries for 67 yards (6.7 ypc) with 1 TD run.  Rookie RB/WR Dexter McCluster carried the ball 3 times for 37 yards (12.3 ypc) last night and he returned 2 kickoffs for 43 yards (21.5 avg).  FB Tim Castille only had 5 yards rushing on 2 carries (2.5 ypc) but he also caught 1 pass that went for 43 yards.  TE Jake O’Connell led the way in the passing game for the Chiefs last night with 4 grabs for 36 yards (9.0 avg).  The Chiefs finished up with 145 yards rushing (4.5 ypc) and 177 yards passing last night.

Safety Ricky Price (8 tackles, 1 pass defensed) and CB Jackie Bates (5 tackles, 3 passes defensed) led the way for the D last night.  The Packers finished up with 67 yards rushing (3.4 ypc) and 366 yards passing in this game.  The Chiefs finished up the pre-season with a 1-3 record.
