The Kansas Chiefs have a couple of solid fullbacks
The Chiefs have two young solid fullbacks in 25-year old Mike Cox and 26-year old Tim Castille. Cox played in 16 games (10 starts) for the Chiefs last season and he carried the ball 3 times for 5 yards (1.7 ypc) with 1 TD run. He also caught 10 passes for 79 yards (7.9 avg) last season for the Chiefs. He has now played in 32 games (15 starts) in his two years with the Chiefs and he carried the ball 4 times for 3 yards (0.8 ypc) with 1 TD run. He also has caught 18 passes for 98 yards (5.4 avg) in his career to date. He has a slight lead on Castille for the starting job heading into training camp.
Tim Castille played in 7 games (0 starts) for the Chiefs last season and he carried the ball 14 times for 55 yards (3.9 ypc). He also caught 4 passes for 37 yards (9.3 avg) with 1 TD grab last season. Castille has now played in 21 games (0 starts) in his two years in the NFL. He didn’t carry the ball in his first season in the NFL. He has now caught 8 passes for 48 yards (6.0 avg) with 1 TD grab in his young career.
