The NFL suspends Dwayne Bowe
The NFL has suspended WR Dwayne Bowe for the next 4 games for use of performance enhancing drugs. Bowe has played in 8 games for the Chiefs this season and he has caught 33 passes for 466 yards (14.1 avg) with 4 TD grabs. This suspension will put Bowe even deeper into Coach Haley’s Dog House. Chris Chambers will likely be the new #1 WR for the Chiefs until Bowe comes back. He has played in 2 games for the Chiefs this season and he has caught 6 passes for 130 yards (21.7 avg) with 2 TD grabs. Lance Long will also likely get more targets with Bowe out of action. Long has played in 3 games for the Chiefs so far this season and he has caught 12 passes for 104 yards (8.7 avg) so far this year. Mark Bradley will likely return to the starting lineup opposite of Chambers. He has played in 9 games for the Chiefs this season and he has caught 17 passes for 211 yards (12.4 avg) with 1 TD grab. The Chiefs will miss Bowe as they don’t have a high octane passing game with him playing.
