The Chiefs have signed 29-year old TE Sean Ryan.  Ryan is a big TE at 6’5″, 260 pounds but he’s not much of a receiving threat.  He is however a pretty good run blocker.  Ryan played in 6 games for the 49ers last season and he caught 1 pass for 8 yards.  Ryan has now played in 33 games in his NFL career and he has caught 12 passes for 105 yards (8.8 avg).  This was a good depth signing for the Chiefs.
