The Chiefs have signed 30-year old linebacker Monty Beisel to a 1-year contract.  He played in all 16 games for the Cardinals last season and he made 20 tackles.  Beisel has now played in 110 games in his NFL career and he has made 234 tackles, defensed 3 passes, has 4.5 sacks, forced 3 fumbles and he has 2 interceptions.  This was a good depth signing for the Chiefs and Beisel could also help out on special teams in 2009.
