3. (82) DaJuan Morgan, S
The Chiefs were happy to see DaJuan Morgan waiting for them in the 3rd round. He only started one season at North Carolina State but he can play both corner and safety. Morgan appears more comfortable at safety and he really brings the pop against the run. He can be fooled by QBs at times but he will learn with experience as he is a very hard worker. Morgan played in 36 games (12 starts) at North Carolina State and he made 225 tackles, broke up 15 passes, had 6 interceptions and he forced 2 fumbles. Look for Morgan to win a starting job at some point in 2008 and he will really help them on special teams from Day #1. Morgan was an outstanding pick for the Chiefs.
