Herman Edwards is a big part of the problem with the Kansas City Chiefs

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General Chiefs Discussion by admin on Thursday 17 January 2008 at 8:03 am

The Kansas City Chiefs lost their last 9 games in a row last season as they finished tied for last place in the AFC West with a 4-12 record.  The Chiefs are now 13-19 in two seasons under Edwards watch and they are 0-1 in the playoffs.  The problem with Edwards is that the Chiefs offense is way too conservative and that’s a big problem because their defense is not that good which compounds that problem.  Edwards has now been a head coach in the NFL for 7 seasons now and he is 52-60 (.464 %) in the regular season and he is 2-4 (.333 %) in the post season.

since herman first season with the chiefs doomed the whole team. 2nd season even worse, so how is he going to fix last years season? get another LB william, for what? the chiefs already have if not great but good linebacking crew. lost’s depth on the secondary and especially on the offanse, theirs basiclly no talent at all none but LJ and Gonzo. so how about this… from my point of view i say they should get rid of edwards and start fresh again with a better known coach. look at what he did in new york.. same thing happening in kansas city.

I agree CB. The next coach doesn’t have to be more well known than Edwards, just a better coach.
