Kansas City Chiefs 27, Cincinnati Bengals 20

The Chiefs jumped the Bengals early in this game and they made it stand.  Damon Huard had his best game of the season as he completed 25 of 35 passes for 264 yards with 2 TD passes and 0 INTs.  Larry Johnson also had a good game as he carried the ball 31 times for 119 yards (3.8 ypc) with 1 TD run and he also caught 2 passes for 24 yards (12.0 avg).  TE Tony Gonzalez was off the charts against the Bengals as he caught 9 passes for 102 yards (11.3 avg) with 2 TDs.  WRs Jeff Webb (7 rec, 78 yards) and Dwyane Bowe (4 rec, 46 yards) each had solid games.  The Chiefs finished with 121 yards rushing on 34 carries (3.6 ypc) and they also completed 25 of 35 passes for 233 yards.

The defense gave up a lot of yards today but they also made their share of big plays as Carson Palmer turned the ball over 3 times.  Donnie Edwards (9 tackles) and Jared Allen (3 tackles, 2.5 sacks) were the big difference makers on the defense today.  The Bengals finished up with 78 yards rushing on 18 carries (4.3 ypc) and they also completed 26 of 43 passes for 295 yards.
