The Chiefs got a big win on the road in San Diego yesterday.  Damon Huard was sharp as he completed 17 of 29 passes for 284 yards with 2 TD passes and 2 interceptions.  Larry Johnson broke out of his funk with a good game as he carried the ball 25 times for 123 yards (4.7 ypc) and he also caught 3 passes for 25 yards (8.3 avg).  WR Dwyane Bowe (8 rec, 164 yards, TD) and TE Tony Gonzalez (5 rec, 71 yards, TD) were explosive especially in the 2nd half of the game.  The Chiefs finished up with 126 yards rushing on 28 carries (4.5 ypc) and they also completed 17 of 29 passes for 264 yards.

Safety Jarrad Page (10 tackles, fumble recovery) and linebacker Napoleon Harris (10 tackles) led the way for the Chiefs’ defense.  But it was reserve CB Tyron Brackenbridge who made the biggest play when he returned a fumble 50 yards for a TD late in the game.  The Chargers rushed for 133 yards on 24 carries (5.5 ypc) and they also completed 21 of 42 passes for 200 yards.
