The Chiefs have seen enough of Justin Medlock so they cut him.  He went 1 for 2 yesterday on field goals and he was 3 of 6 in the pre-season.  The Chiefs have signed Dave Rayner who lost his job in Green Bay to rookie Mason Crosby.  Rayner has played in 30 NFL games for the Colts and Packers and he is 26 for 36 (72.2%) on field goals and he has made 31 of 32 extra points.
