The Kansas City Chiefs are going with a rookie kicker in 2007
This could be tricky for the Chiefs this season because rookie kickers usually need a little adjustment period to the pro game. The Chiefs really can’t afford for Justin Medlock to not be ready to go right away because field goals might be a big part of the offense with Brodie Croyle likely being the starting quarterback. Medlock does have a strong leg so if he can handle the pressure of kicking in the NFL he should do at least as well as Lester Tynes did last season. Oh, and I don’t think Medlock will miss any field goals that are under 20 yards like Tynes did in the playoffs.
