The Chiefs have signed return man Eddie Drummond.  This was a good move by the Chiefs as it gives them a veteran to replace the departed but not forgotten Dante Hall.  Drummond played in 14 games last season for the Detroit Lions and he caught only 2 passes for 10 yards.  But he was a good return man.  He returned 62 kickoffs for 1,349 yards (21.8 avg) and 28 punts for 296 yards (10.8 avg).

Over his NFL career, Drummond has played in 52 games and he has carried the ball 8 times for 49 yards (6.1 ypc) and he has caught 4 passes for 7 yards (1.8 avg).  He has been outstanding as a return man over his NFL career.  He has returned 213 kickoffs for 5,026 yards (23.6 avg) with 2 TD returns and he has also returned 108 punts for 1,058 yards (9.8 avg) with 4 TD returns.
