The Chiefs have signed safety Chad Williams to a 1-year contract.  He played pretty well as a backup safety and special teams player last season for the 49ers.  He played in 15 games and he made 30 tackles, had 2.5 sacks and 1 interception (he returned in 43 yards).  Look for him to have the same role with the Chiefs that he had last season with the 49ers.
