The Kansas City Chiefs have been without a legit #1 WR for a long time so they decided to try to fix that when they drafted Dwyane Bowe out of LSU.  Bowe has outstanding size at 6′2″, 222 pounds but he’s not really that fast as he runs a 4.55 40.  He however is a very tough, physical player who goes over the middle and he’s an excellent run blocker.  He’s very similar in playing style to Hines Ward of the Steelers.  In 50 games at LSU (30 starts), Bowe caught 154 passes for 2,403 yards (15.6 avg) with 26 TD grabs.  Bowe was an excellent pick for the Chiefs who hope he can be an impact player from Day #1.  I think they will be correct.
