The Kansas City Chiefs invite Priest Holmes to Training Camp
The Chiefs have invited running back Priest Holmes to Training Camp after he missed all of last season with a neck injury. The Chiefs could really use the Priest because Herman Edwards didn’t trust any of his other running backs and he rode Larry Johnson way too hard. In 10 seasons in the NFL, Holmes has played in 109 games (80 starts) and he’s carried the football 1,734 times for 8,035 yards (4.6 ypc) with 86 TD runs. He also caught 334 passes for 2,945 yards (8.8 avg) with 8 TD grabs. Not bad numbers for an undrafted running back.
