Darche only played 1 game last season due to injury. He has played in 97 games in 7 seasons in Seattle and he’s good at snapping the ball so this move will help the Chiefs a little bit.
The Chiefs have given Napoleon Harris a six year contract to play with them. Harris played in 14 games last season with the Vikings last season and he had 59 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, defensed 1 pass and forced a fumble. Herman Edwards must think he can light a fire under Harris who has talent but hasn’t put up big numbers thus far in his career.
The Kansas City Chiefs have signed Damion McIntosh to a 6 year contract to play left tackle for them. He’s a 6′4″, 320 pound nasty man that likes to hit people. He started 13 games for the Dolphins last season and he’s started 80 of the 84 games that he’s played over his career. He is 30 years old, so you have to question the length of the contract but he should play well for at least the next couple of seasons. LT was a big hole on the Chiefs and Trent Green & Damon Huard are probably smiling today.
