The Chiefs looked like they came out of the locker-room flat, and by the time they flipped the switch…it was too late.  Damon Huard didn’t play too well as he completed 15 of 38 passes for 201 yards.  Larry Johnson carried the ball 18 times for 75 yards (4.2 ypc) and a TD.  Tony Gonzalez had a decent game with 6 catches for 84 yards.  Eddie Kennison caught 3 passes for 58 yards.

The defense played pretty well today, but the offense didn’t do their part.  DE Jared Allen had 7 tackles and a sack.  Patrick Surtain (8 tackles) and Keyaron Fox (9 tackles) each played well.  The Dolphins ran the ball 36 times for 117 yards (3.3 ypc).  The Dolphins completed 19 of 36 passes for 189 net yards passing.

When you’re playing against a bad football team, you have to come out of the locker room ready to beat them up and discourage them……but the Chiefs didn’t do that.
