Chiefs vs. Seahawks
The Chiefs have won 3 of their last 4 football games, while the Seahawks have lost two of their last three games. When KC fans got their season tickets in the mail, I’m sure that this game stood out……..Larry Johnson vs. Shaun Alexander…….Trent Green vs. Matt Hasselbeck, but not all is bad for the KC fan in this game. QB Seneca Wallace and Maurice Morris are the guys now trying to win the game in Seattle, and the outlook for them is bleak!
Don’t look for Mike Holmgren to change what the Seahawks like to do on offense. The strength of the team as it stands right now is the WRs. Look for the Seahawks to spread the field with Darrell Jackson (33 rec, 523 yards), Deion Branch (15 rec, 216 yards), DJ Hackett and Nate Burleson and let Seneca Wallace throw the ball in his first NFL start. It won’t be easy, because Arrowhead is a tough place to play and the Chiefs secondary is filled with veterans who will try to trick Wallace into making bad throws. RB Maurice Morris (224 yards rushing, 3.1 ypc) had better give the offense a little balance or the pass rush will tee off on Wallace. The Chiefs have had major problems stopping the run, allowing 123.7 yards rushing per game this season……so maybe the Seahawks will try to run the ball a little more than usual.
The Seahawks defense has been a little stingy against the run, but don’t look for Herman Edwards to change how he runs his team. The Chiefs will probably feed the rock to Larry Johnson (489 yards rushing, 303 yards receiving) and take on the Seahawks linebacking corps. Also look for the Chiefs to keep TE Tony Gonzalez involved in the offense after his huge game last week. The Seahawks allow 225.5 yards passing per game and an opponents QB rating of 92.2, so maybe this is the week that Edwards opens it up a little bit.
The Chiefs should win this football game. Seneca Wallace will have a hard time in his first NFL start if the Seahawks have trouble running the football.

Chiefs will stop the run, but their problem will be against Seneca himself. They always seem to struggle against a scrambling QB, and it never fails, they always overpursue. Although the Chiefs line are getting to the QB better this year, they are having trouble wrapping up the QB up for the sack.
Again, I point out the Chief’s DB’s. They are old and can not keep up the intensity and speed for the entire game. Look for Seattle to try to exploit this and possibly go deep a few times to hit a home run ball or keep the defense honest.
The offense has to sustain some time conuming drives to keep the D fresh or this could be a track meet that the Chiefs can’t win with their tired legs.
Arrowhead crowd will be a big factor on the newbie QB. He won’t be able to handle one of the loudest stadium in the league and that coinciding with the heavy rush, should create some chaos in their offense. They will not be able to sustain a running game to quiet the crowd, so its up to Seneca to do it with his legs and/or arms.
Seneca Wallace wasn’t even a good college QB Mikee. I think Seneca Wallace is a meatball.
