Trent Green out at least 2 weeks
Trent Green will miss at least two weeks after the brutal (cheap?) shot by defensive end Robert Geathers of the Bengals. Damon Huard will take over as the starter and the Chiefs will probably scale back the offense a little bit. Huard does have good mobility and should be able to roll out as long as the O-line gives him time.
Who is going to be the back-up quarterback over the next 3 week period? And what are his stats as far as passes and running and championship games?
What Offensive line?
I agree that Edwards is a concervative coach, but if that means that Larry Johnson sees more playing time then I am all for it. Larry should have a breakout season if the offensive coordinator would use him the way we used Priest. And if the offensive line decides it is time to “buck up” now that Roaf has made his decission. He was going away eventually anyhow.
Brodie Croyle is the new back-up QB. As far as Larry Johnson goes, teams are gonna put 8 guys in the box until Green comes back, and the offensive line is looking……offensive.
Yes but that will open up Tony G. for the quick screen passes and he is much harder to get down than even L.J.
In the NFL if you can’t throw a screen or a quick slant then maybe you should be playing the other football. Wouldn’t you agree.

With Trent out for a while teams will put 8 men in the box. That means there will be 1 on 1 mathups down the field, we have take some some shots down field, and we had those chances in denver! Let huard throw it up and see ehat happens, you can’t run every down!!
I think Herman Edwards is terrified of his defense and is running the ball to keep them off the field. You are right though, they are wasting Tony Gonzalez and Eddie Kennison. They will have a very high draft pick if they don’t change soon!
